Our Story

Welcome to MormonPunch! We are happy you found us and hope you enjoy our recipes which are inspired by Mormon women throughout Utah. We hope to share the culture and the recipes that show up again and again at church gatherings, family events, and community celebrations.

From wedding receptions to baby blessings, food has always been a centerpiece of Mormon culture. These are the dishes everyone recognizes, loves, passes on and shares from the many variations of Mormon punch to, the desserts that feed the ward party, the casseroles that appear without explanation whenever you and your family are in need.

This blog recreates those iconic recipes, sometimes exactly as you remember them and sometimes with a modern twist, while telling the cultural stories behind them.

Mormon Punch is written with affection, humor, and nostalgia, honoring the way food brings people together.

Whether you grew up in the Church, spent years in a church kitchen, or are simply curious about Mormon culture, this space is for anyone who believes recipes carry memories as well as a strong belief that every gathering needs a Mormon punch.
